Dr. Blanchard was born and raised in Sylvester, Georgia. From an early age, he knew he wanted to devote his life to improving the lives of others through dentistry. He attended Valdosta State University where he played football with the Valdosta State Blazers, was a part of the 2007 National Championship team, and graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. It was also at Valdosta State University where he met his beautiful wife Lauren. He received his dental training at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where he graduated in 2017. After graduation, he was thrilled to move back to South Georgia to begin private practice. Dr. Blanchard looks forward to both serving the dental needs of Baxley and becoming a prominent, productive member of the local community.

Dr. Blanchard’s professional memberships include the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. In his spare time, Dr. Blanchard loves hunting and fishing as well as spending quality time with friends and family. Scotty and his wife Lauren welcomed their first child Jacob into the world in November 2017. Dr. Blanchard has a deep passion for cultivating rewarding relationships with each of his patients.
